STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS METHOD BASED ON RANDOM FACTOR

  • The analytical methods for the random structures are firstly summarized and classified, and the derivation and solution processes of the structural analytical methods based on the Random Factor Method (RFM) proposed in recent years are then introduced. Some hot topics are discussed, such as how to determine the probabilistic distribution of random variables existing in the random structural analysis, how to deal with the random loads and the correlation among the random structural parameters. Finally, the applications of RFM are commented and reviewed to different problems of structural analyses, for instance, the bound condition, the dynamic characteristic and dynamic response analyses, random vibration response analysis, the dynamic reliability analysis, the dynamic analyses of intelligent structures in the open-loop or close-loop state, the temperature field analysis of random steady or transient state and the response analysis of structures with random parameters under random heat loads.
