THE APPLICATION OF DDAM ON THE COMPUTATION OF SHOCK RESPONSE OF MARINE FLOATING RAFT VIBRATION-ISOLATING SYSTEM

  • The shock-resistant design and analysis method of onboard equipments is studied. The U.S. Naval DDAM (Dynamic Design Analysis Method) is reviewed in detail. The shock response of a marine floating raft vibration-isolating system is computed and analyzed based on the U.S. Naval NAVSEA 0908-LP-000-3010, Rev. 1 and the GJB1060.1-91, respectively. The results show that the computation based on the revised version DDAM is more accurate than the old version. The computation and analysis method used in this paper can be used to analyze the shock-resistant performance of naval onboard equipments. The choice of modes should be based on the criteria of the U.S. Naval NAVSEA 0908-LP-000-3010, Rev.1.
