THE CHARACTERISTICS OF CORE TUBE-RIGID FRAME STRUCTURES STUBJECTED TO LATERAL LOADS

By using the results of the model tests of a 43-storeyed main building and a 27-storeyed auxiliary building, the behavior, the defor mation property,the dynanmic property,the computing,and the analysis of the computed results of the core tube-rigid frome structures subjected to lateral loads are discussed tn this paper It is assumed that this type of space structure may be replaced by an equivalent plane structure sqstem in the analysis. Finally, the subsidiary building and the deformation of the main building floor slabs in their own plane which will have an effect on the behavior of the main building are also discussed in this paper.
