The Free Vibration of Frame-Shear Wall Structure Including Shear Deformation and Rotatouy Inertia

In this paper,the differential equations of free vibration of the frame—shear wall structure including the effect of shear deformation and of rotatory inertia are derived in accordance with the theory of beam with two generalized displacements¹². The Corresponding frequency equations and the normal functions are found. The examples of the shear wall and the frame—shear wall given illustrate the effect of shear deformation and of rotatory ineria on the dynamic properties of the structures.
