STABILITY AND VIBRATION OF ONE-WAY CONTINUOUS ORTHOTRIPIC PLATES HAVING DISCONTINUOUS SUPPORT CONDITIONS

An analytical method is presented in this paper for solving problems of stability and free vibration of one-way continuous orthotripic plates arbitrarily supported along two opposite sides and discontinuously supported along other two opposite sides with the exception of discontinuous free side and elastic support. With methods of this paper. the exact solution of continuous orthotripic plates having various support conditions can be calculated as special situation of continuous orthotripic plates having discontinuous support conditions.
