A NEW SPLINE INTEGRAL EQUATION METHOD FOR LARGE DISPLACEMENT OF CIRCULAR PLATES

  • A new spline integral equatiou method for large displacement of circular plates is presented. According to two equilibrium equations of large displacement of circular plates and the ring fundamental solutions,a set of integra equations is derired.Then,these integral equations are solved by the spline function method.Because of using the spline intepolation,the numerical so- lutions with very high accuracy can be achieved even if fewer elements are chosen.The solutions of this paper almost agree with exact solutions.
