LIMIT ANALYSIS AND DFSIGN OF CIRCULAR CONCRETE SLABS WITH NONHOMOGENEOVS NET REINFORCEMENT

In this paper for reinforcing circular concrete slabs, instead of homogeneous ones commonly used,a nonhomogeneous two-way steel net is proposed, due to which there is a saving of 12～22% in reinforcing steel. Based for this type of slabs under uniformly distributed loading is obtained. The design approach is also suggested.
