ANALYTIC METHOD OF THE VIBRATION OF THE SHELLOW SF'HERICAL SHELL WITH FOUR FOUNDARY FIXED

This paper the charactcrstic of the free vibration of the shallow spherical shell with four boundary fixed is analyzed by means of the analytic method. The free vibration basic frequency and a sericc of the inherent frequencies of the shell are obtained, The numerical example shows that the basic frequency of the shell can be calculated by means of "the membrane theory" approximatly and thai the effect of the variation of the shell thickness on the value of the basic frequency is not serious. The forced vibration of the shell is also studeced by means of analyticmethod.
