  • In the research of short fibre reinforced composite materials,it is very important to make clear the interfacial stress transmission mechanism.It has been proved that the middle or high content of short steel fibre will increase the compressive strength of concrete greatly reflected in the recent research of the author and others1,3.Based on these facts ,the interfacial stress transmission between the transverse fibre and the matrix is analyzed and the stress distribution at the ends of fibre is obtained in this paper.
