SCA RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF RC CONTAINMENT UNDER SEISMIC LOADING

  • Reliability evaluation was made on the reinforced concrete containment of Qinshan Neuclear Power Plant.The Stable Configuration Approach,so called SCA,was employed to calculate the structural system failure,probability of FEM maodel,Through random vibration analysis, seismic loading was converted to static force. As to element limit state,both concrete crushing and reinforcement yielding were considered. Numerical results show that the RC containment of Qinshan Neuclear Power Plant is adequately safe under earthquake.
