EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON ELASTO-PLASTIC BEHAVIOR OF COUPLED SHEAR WALLS

According to the elasto-plastic analysis of 3 models of RC coupled shear walls and comparison with the test results, some properties and various parameters effecting on the earthquake-resistant behavior of coupled shear wall are studied in this paper. It is shown that the RC coupled shear wall designed with ductility is an ideal form of aseismic structure.
