ANALYSIS OF THIN-SHELL STRUCTURES BASED ON BI-MODULI THEORY

This paper is concerned with thin-shell structures of different tensile-compressive moduli. A finite element approach is developed and applied to some typical cases. Significant and valuable results are obtained and the deficiency of the classical theory is highlighted.
