STIFFNESS AND STRENGTH ANALYSIS OF DUAL FUNCTIONAL SLITTED SHEAR WALL

  • Based on the concept of aseismatic structural control a new reinforced concrete shear Wall, called dual functional slitted shear wall is proposed in this paper. It is formed by setting connectors in the vertical acts of slitted shear wall. Based on test results, the initial lateral stiffness, inelastic lateral stiffness and decrease of lateral stiffness in ductile loading stage are discussed A computational model of dual functional slitted wall is suggested.with the proposed model, the maximum load-carrying capacity and the ductile strength of dual functional slitted wall are computed.
