EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF SHEAR STRENGTH OF RESTRAINED BEAMS WITH POST-CASTING SECTION UNDER CONCENTRATED LOADS

The test results of ten restrained rectangular beams with post-casting section subject to concentrated loads are presented in this paper. The difference of shear strength between the beam with a post-casting section and the common beam is identified through comparison with the known experimental results of common restrained rectangular beams and other numerical results according to Design Code (GBJ10-89) or some theoretical prediction. In addition, the influence of post-casting section on shear strength is studied as well.
