A UNIFIED VISCO-ELASTIC-PLASTIC CONSTITUTIVE MODEL FOR CONCRETE DEFORMATION

  • In this paper, a unified visco-elastic-plastic constitutive model is introduced. It is simplified for concrete deformation. A prediction is made by numerical simulation for the strain rate jump deformation of concrete. The result agrees with the experimental data of Bazant. Thus, the effectiveness of the unified visco-elastic-plastic constitutive model is demonstrated for concrete rate-dependent deformation.
