THE ELASTOPLASTIC TIME HISTORY ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURES WITH FUZZY HYBRID CONTROL

  • In this paper, based on the fuzzy theory and hybrid control theory of aseismatic structure, a Matlab program is developed to conduct elastoplastic time history analysis of the energy dissipation system in combination with the passive tuned mass damper (PTMD). It is indicated that the analysis result fits very well with the test result. In addition, a practical design method combining the energy dissipation system with the PTMD is put forward, and a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the control system in reducing the structural earthquake response. It is expected that the present work is of both theoretical and application values in promoting the development of structural control theory.
