EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF CONCRETE BEAMS STRENGTHENED WITH CARBON FIBER SHEET USING DIGITAL SPECKLE CORRELATION METHOD

  • An experimental study of the strength and deformation characteristics of carbon-fiber-sheet -reinforced concrete beams using digital speckle correlation method (DSCM) was performed. The strength characteristics of the beams under different loading conditions were measured and analyzed. The speckle patterns reflecting the deformation information of the strengthen beams were real-time recorded during the loading processes. The displacement and strains of the whole field were determined and the fracture mechanisms of specimens were analyzed at the same time.
