DYNAMIC EFFECT OF STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ELEVATED GUIDEWAY ON MAGLEV SYSTEM

  • Based on the Maglev train system of Germany (Transrapid), a finite element model of the elevated-beam guideway, a vertical coupling system model of vehicle/guideway and their dynamic differential equations are set up. The present vertical maglev vehicle model is used. The present analysis is focused on the factors which influence the dynamic response of the maglev vehicle/guideway coupling system, such as the elevated-beam type (freely supported beam or continuous beam) of the guideway, the supporting stiffness, the wavelength of irregularity and so on.
