ASEISMATIC SERVICEABILITY ANALYSIS OF WATER SUPPLY NETWORK

  • The mean-value-first-order-second-moment method and advanced first-order-second-moment method are used to analyze the aseismatic serviceability of water supply network. The pipe leakage area measures the seismic damage of the water supply network. The pressure distribution of the water supply network with leakage can present the survival function of a system after an earthquake. The mean values and variances of nodal heads can be obtained through probabilistic model recognizing uncertainty in seismic damage of water supply network. Thus, the aseismatic serviceability of the water supply network is obtained. The results of the two methods are compared.
