DYNAMIC CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONSHIP OF CONCRETE SUBJECTED TO SHOCK LOADING

  • To study the dynamic properties of concrete subjected to shock loading, stress-time curves of concrete in different velocity were measured using the planar impact technique. The Lagrange analysis method is used to process the data, and the distributions of the mechanical parameters against time and space in the flow field are obtained. The mechanical properties and deformation characteristic of concrete at high strain rate are analyzed and the stress-strain curves of concrete are obtained. It is shown that the properties of concrete are nonlinear and sensitive to strain-rates. A visco-elasticity constitutive relationship of concrete is established according to damage evolution. Numerical results are verified by experimental data.
