NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF ANGLE OF VENTILATION ON THE SHAPES OF SUPERCAVITY

  • The supercavity is simulated by using the Navier-Stokes equations with standard k-&#61541; turbulence model and modified Rayleigh-Plesset equations based on the hybrid mesh. In the scope with the angle of after body < the angle of ventilation , full cavitation model model is used and the variational rulers of the simulation is consistent with experimental. On the condition of changing the angle of ventilation, the length of supercavity is decrease with the angle of ventilation increasing, and the maximal diameter of the supercavity is increasing.
