NUMERCIAL MODELLING OF HYSTERESIS BEHAVIOR OF COMPOSITE STEEL FRAME WITH PR CONNECTION-REINFORCED CONCRETE INFILL WALL STRUCTURAL SYSTEM

  • To investigate the hysteresis behavior of composite steel frame with PR connection-reinforced concrete infill wall structural systems, a nonlinear finite element program SRCWNP was developed. The specimen of a two-story–one-bay SRCW(weak axis of column) with PR connection from the test was selected as the object for numerical simulation. The appearance and development of cracks and crushing of concrete in the RC wall is summarized, internal force distribution pattern are analyzed, and its hysteresis behavior and failure mode are derived. The result showed that the numerical results agree well with the test results.
