RESEARCH ON OPTIMUM DESIGN AND APPLICATION OF DOUBLE-ROW PILE RETAINING STRUCTURE

  • A fundamental theory, simple model and stress analysis method for the double-row pile retaining structure design are introduced. The finite element software ANSYS was used to set up the model of double-row pile retaining structure. By analyzing the effects of the spacing, pile rigidity and other factors on the deformation and bending moment of the structure, some conclusions were obtained. Through effective co-action of double-row piles and soil, the double-row pile retaining structure has larger lateral stiffness. The performance of pile retaining structure is influenced by the spacing between pile lines, so the spacing should be reasonable.
