RESEARCH AND APPLICATION ON THE KEY TECHNOLOGIES OF THE UNDERGROUND SPACE OF ZHUJIANG NEW TOWN IN GUANGZHOU

  • As one of the largest domestic urban underground space projects, the Zhujiang New Town project in Guangzhou encounters many technical problems in the construction process, including the deep foundation pit support, shield tunnelling technology in metro construction, the structure design of underground space consisting of slab-column joints with built-in ring steel shear key in the flat floor slab, the hollow steel-tube floor filled with reinforcement concrete, the steel box (plate) shaping device installed in the after-irrigation-strip, the fire protection design of underground space consisting of fire separation and fire evacuation, energy and water-saving consisting of alternatives of cooling system for centralized and recycled water which could be used repeatedly, and the underground traffic and transport system. The discussion on these problems can provide references for the similar projects.
