ANALASIS OF WATER-STRUCTURE-SOIL DYNAMIC INTERACTION UNDER EARTHQUAKES

  • In this paper, we establish an efficient numerical model of water-structure-soil systems under seismic action based on ABAQUS to analyze the influence of water-structure and water-soil interaction on the response of the structure, soil and water under different water depths. Under the action of horizontal ground motions, the results show that the influence of the water-soil interaction on the response of the system is much less than that of the water-structure interaction, and that the influence on the response of the structure, soil and water is negligible. Under the action of vertical ground motions, the effect of water-structure interaction on system response is much less than that of water-soil interaction, and that the water-structure interaction has little influence on the system response. Therefore, only the water-soil dynamic interaction needs to be considered in theoretical simplification analysis.
