Working mechanism analysis of steel reinforced recycled aggregate concrete beams after high temperature

  • In order to investigate the flexural behavior of steel recycled concrete (SRRAC) beams after high temperature, finite element model is established using ABAQUS. The temperature field and residual bearing capacity of the section are analyzed, and are compared with the experimental data. The influences of temperature, recycled coarse aggregate replacement ratio, concrete strength, yield strength, section steel ratio and shear span ratio on residual bearing capacity are analyzed. On the basis of the model, the performance of the beam is studied. The results show that the replacement rate of recycled steel concrete has partial influence on the bearing capacity of recycled steel concrete. Increase of substitution rate can increase the bearing capacity of recycled concrete. The bearing capacity of the component is mainly related to the fire temperature. The carrying capacity of the component under fire at 200 DEG C is reduced by 10%~15%, and the carrying capacity of the component under fire at 600 DEG C is reduced by 20%~25%. This study have further studied the working mechanism of recycled steel concrete after high temperature. The ultimate bearing capacity of recycled steel concrete beams can be estimated according to the replacement rate and the fire temperature.
