ANALYSIS OF FIRE BEHAVIOR OF TWO-WAY CONCRETE SLABS BASED ON DIFFERENT CONSTITUTIVE MODELS

  • To investigate the effect of constitutive models on the fire behavior of reinforced concrete slabs, this paper proposed the concrete constitutive models without considering the influence of aggregate type. The program was developed to trace the behavior of two-way reinforced concrete slab in fire. The reasonability of the proposed constitutive models was verified by comparing the predictions from the present program with data from fire tests. According to EC2, ASCE and present models, the program was applied to investigate the influence of the constitutive models, fire scenarios, thickness and aggregate type on the fire response of slabs. The results show that the proposed constitutive models tend to predict conservative results, compared with those obtained from EC2 and ASCE models.
