DFR VALUE TESTING AND THEORETICAL CALCULATION ON SCARFED LAP JOINT OF AIRFOIL

Abstract
This article summarizes two methods to obtain DFR value by fatigue testing and theoretical calculation for the scarfed lap joint of an outer wing panel, and gives the results of these two methods. It is showed that the geometric character and load form of the scarfed lap joint can be better simulated by theoretical analysis, and this result provides a reference value for the application of aeronautical engineering.
