Abstract
The precise time-integration method is introduced for a structural collision problem, then the concept for a dynamic coefficient spectrum is presented for structural pounding acceleration, based on the definition of a response spectrum. The precise time-integration method is adopted to study the dynamic coefficient spectrum for structural pounding acceleration under the condition of Ⅰ site,Ⅱ site and Ⅲ site. The results show that the precise time-integration method for the structural collision analysis is accurate and efficient, and suitable for the structural collision problem. There is a different response between adjacent structural collisions in the case of ground motions with the different class sites. The impact force in Ⅱ site is the largest in general. The impact force is not sensitive to initial gap, and it decreases with the increase of a damping ratio.
