NONLINEAR ANALYSIS AND STUDY ON EFFECT OF PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS FOR DUCTILE FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE SHEAR WALLS

  • Based on the seismic experiments of ductile fiber reinforced concrete (DFRC) shear walls under cyclic loading, the nonlinear analysis was performed to simulate the complete loading and mechanical behavior by using the finite element software ABAQUS. The nonlinear characteristic of ductile fiber reinforced concrete and high-strength concrete , including a set of element models and the damage constitutive relation of tensile and compress, was taken into account in the models. The reliability of the finite element model was verified by the comparison of analysis and experimental results. By combining the experimental research and the nonlinear simulation, in the consideration of the effect of height and strength of DFRC, the shear span ratio and axial compression ratio of design, the performance parameter of DFRC shear wall are investigated and discussed, and their ranges are suggested.
