Abstract:
Since the cross sections of hyperstatic deep beams with a single span and I section are complex, there are no analytical calculation formulas to compute its stress components up to present. This paper focuses on a stress calculation method for hyperstatic deep beams with a single span and I section subjected to uniform loads. The mechanics model is built by using reasonable parameters, reasonable hypothesis, separating and assembling I section. The analytical formulas of stress components are obtained by using the semi-inverse method with the consideration of shear-bending coupling. The distribution law of bending stress and the effect of shear forces on bending stress are analyzed. The result demonstrates that the shearing force has remarkable effect on the bending stress. The effect is related to the span-depth ratio and area ratio between the flange and web. The result provides a theoretical calculation method for the design of hyperstatic deep beams with a single span and I section.
