Abstract: No publication on large deflection of sandwich plates on elastic foundation has been available so far. In this paper, the exact solution of the large deflection of the axially symmetric sandwich plates on elastic foundation is obtained by power series, some numerical results are calculated and the related diagrams and tables are given as references for engineering design.
