Abstract:
The dynamic stress concentration around the pressure balancing holes on compressor disks is studied experimentally. The resonance method excited by sine sweeping and the transfer function method excited by hammer impact are adopted. The factors of the stress concentration obtained from both methods are coincident. The results of this paper are valuable for the diagnosing of the carcks on disks and the searching of countermeasures. The experimental methods can be used to study the stress concentration problem on other structures.
