Abstract:
In this paper the direct and inverse Problem of elastic wave scattering from two dimensional flaw to a typical impulse wave, which is called basic impulse, is investigated By using the frequency domain Born approximation resolution of elastic wave scattering from scatterers (namely flaw) to a plane harmonic wave, the impulse resonance function, which is called basic impulse resonance function, is given through Fourier transform. And then the relation between the characteristic function of scatterer and the basic impulse resonance function is obtained by making use of Radon transform Results of numerical simulation show that time domain Born approximation method has potentially applied value to NDE.
