Abstract:
In this paper, the least-squares collocation method is employed to analyze the elastoplastic problems of laminated anisotropic thin plates and shells. The Huber-Mises yield criterion extended by Hill is introduced. By taking double fifth B-spline functions as the displacements trial functions and using the elastoplastic incremental theory, the basic iteration formulas of the problems are derived. In these formulas, the effects of plastic deformation of the material are taken as the equivalent loads. As a result, the derived formulas are linear algebraic equations which can be solved by the initial stress method. Numerical examples demonstrate the simplicity, accuracy and efficiency of the present method.
