Abstract:
By referring to the differential oscillation equation of stayed cable, the equations of vortex-induced oscillation of anchor cable are set up using dynamics and Morison equations. Also, the effects of obliquity, tension and length of anchor cable on its transverse oscillation are discussed. The results show that the decrease of the obliquity and tension of the anchor cable could induce the increase of the maximum response and the decrease of the first-order natural frequency, and also could induce the decrease of the locked current of vortex-induced and the maximum of parametric excitation frequency. The decrease of the vertical depth of the anchor cable could induce the decrease of the maximum response and the increase of the first-order natural frequency, and also could induce the increase of the locked current of vortex-induced and the maximum of parametric excitation frequency.
