Abstract:
The “parametric elasticity” concept for flutter derivatives is presented.Based on complex mode theory,6 kinds of parametric(i.e.plate width,mass,mass moment of inertia,vertical bending frequency,torsional frequency,air density)elasticity of flat plate flutter derivatives are calculated.Parametric elasticity graphs and nomograms of 8 flutter derivatives are given and their characteristics analyzed.The influences of different non-dimensional parameters on flutter derivatives parametric elasticity are obtained.The analytical results indicate that the newly proposed concept of parametric elasticity is non-dimensional,concise,direct and practical,and is verified to be a new effective approach for the parameter analysis of flutter derivatives.
