Abstract:
Based on the analysis of current research results on the shear strength of biaxial flexural reinforced concrete beams, several shear strength calculation methods are summarized. The major problems in present studies on biaxial flexural reinforced concrete beams are point out. According to the structural reliability demands and the synthesize comparison analysis results, considering of the requirements of engineering application and the Code for design of concrete structures (GB50010-2002), a practical shear strength calculation method for the design of biaxial flexural reinforced concrete beams with stirrup reinforcement is proposed, and the method is convenient for compilation design sheets.
