Abstract:
Pattern recovery technique, associated with other stimulation treatments, can effectively enhance the coal-bed methane production, where the selection of the reasonable well spacing is important to the pattern exploitation. According to the geologic condition, hydraulic fracture and reservoir conditions of some areas in Qinshui basin, the numerical simulation of coalbed methane pattern exploitation was performed considering the effect of matrix shrinkage on the porosity and permeability. 61620;300m in the future, and the predicted coalbed methane recovery is 56.46% after 16.5 years if this pattern well spacing is applied.
