Abstract:
crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture is a typical viscoelastic material. It can improve high-temperature resistant and crack resistance energy at a low temperature. The application of abandoned rubber tires is significant to cutting down on pollution, developing circular economy and protecting the environment. Based on the results of a bending creep test for crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture with same graduation, the viscoelastic behavior is studied at
61485;15℃, 0℃, 15℃, 30℃ and 45℃. The creep stain-time correlation curve and creep rate of crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture are received at different temperatures. It is observed that: crumb rubber modified asphalt mixture has a preferable low-temperature performance than that of SBS modified asphalt mixture. Burger’s model can imitate the viscoelastic mechanical behavior precisely, and the viscoelastic parameter is obtained on the basis of the fit. In the meantime, the process of a bend creep test is simulated by ABAQUS software.
