Abstract:
The uniaxial creep experiments of asphalt sand under five different stresses and test temperatures were conducted. Their creep curves were known and the viscoelastic characteristics of Burgers model were investigated. On basis of least squares techniques, the nonlinear fit procedure can be used to obtain the model parameters as functions of loading stresses and test temperatures. At last, a comparison between the model prediction and experimental results is carried out, showing good agreement in the first and second stages of test creep curve of sand asphalt mixture.
