RESEARCH ON THE RESIDUAL STRENGTH OF DAMAGED RING-STIFFENED CYLINDRICAL SHELL

摘要: 为探讨外压作用下的环肋圆柱壳,在出现损伤变形但尚未破损的状态下,能安全承受的最大压力,该文提出了受损伤环肋圆柱壳的“剩余强度”概念。以“涡形凹陷”作为损伤变形的典型形状,考察环肋圆柱壳在静水外压作用下的应力分布和失稳临界压力,与相应的完好状态的环肋圆柱壳进行比较,分析损伤凹陷位置和幅度的变化对受损伤环肋圆柱壳所能承受的最大压力的影响规律,提出了评估受损伤的环肋圆柱壳“剩余强度”的量化指标——剩余强度系数,并绘制了“剩余强度系数图谱”。Abstract: In order to find out the utmost external pressure sustained by the ring-stiffened cylindrical shell which is damaged with a large local indentation but not destroyed, the concept of residual strength is proposed. By using a dimple shaped indentation to describe the typical shape of damage, the stress distribution and buckling pressure of a damaged ring-stiffened cylindrical shell subjected to hydrostatic pressure are calculated with MSC/NASTRAN. Compared these results with an ideal ring-stiffened cylindrical shell, the duration capacity of pressure hull varying with the position and range of the indentation is analyzed. In order to assess the residual strength of the ring-stiffened cylindrical shell, a residual strength coefficient is proposed and a series of curves of the coefficient are drawn.
