Abstract:
Pipe jacking construction may cause disturbance to adjacent buildings and structures, endangering the safety of the project. Taking the Yuanhetang section of Chengbei Road Comprehensive Pipe Gallery in Suzhou City as the background, this paper established a three-dimensional model using ABAQUS finite element analysis software to study the impact of pipe jacking construction on surrounding soil and existing pipelines. Based on the ultimate analysis method, the pipeline instability mode is also discussed. The results demonstrate that the influence range of the large-diameter rectangular jacking pipe in the direction of jacking is about twice the width of the pipe, and the influence range on both sides is about one width of the pipe. When the horizontal distance from the underground pipeline to the axis of the jacking pipe is 0.5 to 1 times the width of the jacking pipe, attention should be paid to whether the additional horizontal load on the pipeline will cause damage. The relative position of pipelines to the jacking pipe has a significant impact on pipeline damage. The closer the pipelines are to the jacking pipe, the more severe the damage is. The slip line extends from both sides of the jacking pipe through the pipelines to the ground, and the damaged area extends from the top sides of the pipelines to the bottom. In addition to the influence of the relative position with the jacking pipe, the pipeline damage pattern is also affected by the rectangular shape of the jacking pipe, with the highest risk of damage occurring at the top of the pipelines and in the corner areas near the jacking pipe.
