Bionics is an important way for human being to use the achievement of biological evolution to promote theoretical innovation and technology progress. The leading-edge of humpback whale flipper is considered to improve dynamic performance through affect fluid flow. The exact leading-edge of humpback whale flipper can be obtained by image processing. The wing is established by the edge and the NACA 63
4-021 airfoil to study aerodynamic characteristics. And the effect of convex and concave leading edge on blade is analyzed by studying the aerodynamic performance of blade and the vorticity distribution of blade. The bionic wing aerodynamic evaluation indicates that lift coefficient and lift-drag ratio are superior to those of comparative models.
