Abstract:
Based on explicit dynamic numerical simulation analysis, the large-scaled static loading test, the large-scaled shaking-table test, and the plane reinforced concrete frame collapse test, the paper investigated collapse mechanism under static loads and dynamic loads for reinforced concrete structures including high-rise frame structures and high-rise frame-core tube structures. Some key factors including the mechanical principle, the damage mechanism, the failure order and the failure range were analyzed. The development of “catenary action” in different working conditions were studied according to the beam deformation in the vicinity of the removed column, local condition of beam end, stress time-history curves of bottom bar and collapse damage situation. Mainwhile, suggestions on the collapse resistant design of these kinds of structures were put forward.
