Abstract:
Following the actual stress states of typical abnormal joints of SRC hybrid structures in power plants, five 1/5 scale model abnormal joints were tested under low-cyclic reversed loading. The influence of setting short-limb shear walls along the height of SRC columns on the seismic performance of SRC abnormal joints was analyzed. The results show that short-limb shear walls can restrain the development of cracks, as well as greatly improve the hysteretic performance, energy dissipation capacity, bearing capacity, stiffness characteristics, and ductility performance of SRC abnormal joints; also, the improvement is greater in SRC abnormal joints with horizontal short limb-shear walls than in the joints with longitudinal short-limb shear walls.
