Abstract:
A space thin-walled tube structure with interval parameters is studied. Based on interval analysis theory, an interval method is presented for the transient temperature field problem of space structures subjected to solar heat flux continuously. In this method, all parameters are regarded as interval parameters, and a transient thermal analysis model for space structures is established by FEM. In order to solve this problem, the regions of space are discretized by finite elements and the regions of time are discretized by the recursive computation of difference. Based on interval extension theory and Taylor series expansion, the interval finite element equation of a structure is solved by matrix perturbation formulas, and then the range of temperature field responses of the structure is obtained. The present results and the reference results are compared by a numerical example, and it indicates the rationality of the computational model and the efficiency of the method.
