Abstract:
Typical structural detail fatigue rating (DFR) value is very important for DFR approach. It is an effective method to obtain DFR value by experiment. The outer wing-lower panel lap joint is an important fatigue critical part of a certain type of aircraft. To evaluate its fatigue quality, fatigue tests were conducted with two types of typical details simulation coupons under constant amplitude. Test result about its DFR value was acquired aiming at the definition of structural DFR value of military aircrafts. It is showed that complex multi-pin joint structure can be better simulated by multi-details structure which can reflect the real structure of geometry and load. The test result is of great value, which provides a reference value for fatigue analysis of similar structure.
