风荷载下输电铁塔的失效模式及其极限荷载

DOMINANT FAILURE MODES OF A TRANSMISSION TOWER AND ITS ULTIMATE CAPACITY UNDER WIND LOAD

  • 摘要: 该文研究顺风向、横风向风荷载同时作用下输电铁塔的主要失效模式及其极限基本风压。按空间桁架体系建立了输电铁塔的有限元模型。建立了在风荷载作用下,寻找输电铁塔主要失效模式的方法,该方法以基本风压为控制量,可以方便地获得输电铁塔的主要失效模式及其极限基本风压。在数值算例中比较了横风向风荷载对输电铁塔的主要失效模式及其极限基本风压的影响,指出了如果不考虑输电铁塔横风向风荷载,它的极限基本风压将被高估;同时指出了要提高结构的抗风能力,有效的方法是提高基本失效单元的强度,而这样的单元往往并不多。

     

    Abstract: This paper analyzes the dominant failure modes of a transmission tower and its ultimate basic wind pressure under equivalent static wind load in the along-wind and across-wind directions. Finite element model of the transmission tower based on space truss structure is established. A method in terms of basic wind pressure is introduced to generate dominant failure modes of the transmission tower, as well as the ultimate basic wind pressure. Furthurly, This paper discusses the influence of wind load in the across-wind direction on dominant failure modes of the tower and on the ultimate capacity. A numerical example indicates that if equivalent static wind loads in across-wind direction are neglected, the ultimate wind pressure of the transmission tower will be overestimated. At the same time, it is suggested that the structure capacity in resisting wind load can be improved effectively and efficiently if the strength of a small number of basic failure elements is improved.
