钝体绕流空化的数值研究

NUMERICAL STUDY OF CAVITATION FLOW AROUND A BLUNT CYLINDRICAL OBJECT

  • 摘要: 空化问题的数值模拟涉及空化现象数理模型的建立以及空化机理的探索。该文对Singhal完全空化模型进行改进,从统计上描述微观气核的力学行为以得到空化流场宏观物理量的分布,在求解完整的Rayleigh-Plesset方程的基础上构造空化源项,以考虑空化气核发展的历史效应和非定常特性,效果很好。该文应用改进模型,采用两相流的方法对钝体绕流过程中的空化现象进行了数值模拟,验证了模型的有效性,同时计算了钝体出水过程空泡溃灭引起的压力场变化,捕捉到空泡溃灭导致的瞬时压力脉冲。

     

    Abstract: Numerical simulations of cavitation problems deal with the establishment of mathematical cavitation model and the mechanism of cavitation. In this paper, Singhal’s full cavitation model is modified to statistically describe the distribution of macroscopical physical variables using informations about microcosmic bubbles’ mechanical behaviors. Cavitation source term is derived from the generalized Rayleigh-Plesset equation to take into account the historical effect and unstable characteristics of bubble development. Cavitating flow around blunt cylindrical object is simulated with current model under the systerm of homogeneous equilibrium flow, and the model is validified in several problems. The pressure variation during the exiting water progress is also calculated, and the instantaneous local pressure peaks are captured, which are induced by collapses of bubbles.
